While watching the DNC, the first lady gave her speech about the value of family, working hard for family and her support for her husband aka Our President :) what really caught my attention was the story about her father.
She stated that her father had Multiple Sclerosis and woke up every day with a smile on his face. He as long as he could, never missed a day of work so that his children could get the education that he couldn't. Even through the pain he never gave up.
That touched my heart in so many ways because that is something I think of often. I too have MS and I plan to have children and worry about my energy levels or not wanting my kids to see me down. However, I know and will always remember that God is with us and we are favored.
I will keep pushing and never give up on my dreams.
